History

Lighthouse Risk Services LLP was conceived in 2007 as the brainchild of an insurance broking entrepreneur, and a practising Health & Safety consultant.

The idea was simple – businesses face Health & Safety compliance headaches on a daily basis, but not all of them have the expertise in-house to meet requirements and comply. By building a practical support service to these businesses, Lighthouse would be able to deliver an invaluable service to ensure clients kept on the right side of legislation.

Lighthouse has continued to grow in the ensuing years, building a team of Health & Safety consultants to deliver support services to customers.

During this period, it was recognised that by providing the additional service of Employment Law consultancy support, Lighthouse could add significant value to our client offering.

As such, the employment law team was created, enhancing the suite of services available to our customers.
We have continued to develop the service offering over time without ever losing focus on our core competencies of Health and Safety and Employment Law consultancy.

The facilities available to clients now include e-based solutions such as our online portal and E-Learning training facility, along with various niche competencies such as Asbestos Surveys and Fire Risk Assessments.

It speaks volumes that many of the clients that trusted Lighthouse to guide their business through the minefield of UK Health and Safety and Employment Law in the early years, are still clients of ours today.

It is often cited that the practical solutions Lighthouse provide, along with the transparent fee structures we work to, form the basis that allow our clients to put their trust in us year upon year.
