Lighthouse Mock Health & Safety Trial – Would You Risk It For A Biscuit?

Lighthouse Health & Safety Mock Trial at Headingley Stadium

We’re pleased to announce we’ve once again teamed up with Chadwick Lawrence solicitors to deliver another interactive mock health and safety trial.

This follows our last event (in 2022!) which saw 135 delegates attend.

We’re hosting the event in the fabulous Howard Suite at AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds – the only room in the world to boast views of two international sports grounds!

We’d love as much of our network as possible to join us and so please find below specific details of the event and how to register.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us on 0300 303 5228 or info@lighthouseriskservices.co.uk

Date, Location and Timings:

Thursday 8th May 2025

08:15 arrival for 09:00 start, closing at 11:30.

Hosted at:

AMT Headingley Stadium

St. Michael’s Lane

Leeds

LS6 3BR

FREE Breakfast and parking included.

Scenario:

Join us in hearing the case of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) vs. Risk it for a Biscuit Ltd as we work through the legal proceedings following a workplace accident at the family-owned bakery’s premises.

Witness the buzz of the courtroom as practising barristers cross-examine our three witnesses and see how the Managing Director, Operations Manager and injured employee of Risk it for a Biscuit Ltd are scrutinised on the events which led to the incident.

Our judge will preside over the trial, breaking down each examination and fielding the views of our audience.

The event will close with sentencing and the opportunity for you to consider how the Sentencing Council’s guidelines for Health and Safety Offences in the UK would influence the Judge’s final decision.
