Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations were revised and re-issued in April 2015 with the previous version of the regulations having been in place since 2007.

There were some significant alterations introduced in 2015, including the requirement for domestic contractors to comply, and the removal of the CDM Coordinator role.

These changes caused a lot of confusion and have taken some time to bed in.

It may be that your business is not involved in construction, however if you are planning an alteration to your premises, then you will need to ensure that you can comply with CDM 2015.

As a customer of Lighthouse, we will ensure that whether you are a contractor or the end user, your internal Health and Safety procedures reflect the requirements of CDM 2015.

We will document the procedures in your Health and Safety policy, and provide access to the relevant Construction Phase Plan documents and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
